How to be Saved Today! by Debbie Bell Jarratt
The whole purpose of my life is to glorify the One
who gave me everlasting life,
family, talent and a reason to live ~ JESUS CHRIST!
I desire to be a light to the world, ~ publishing truth!
I have spent the last 28 years seeking ways
to share His blessings with others through my testimony,
using my artistic talent and the printed Word of God.
~
I would like to ask you two very interesting Questions.
1. Do you know for certain if you were to die today
that you would positively go to Heaven?
and ~
2. Suppose you died right now and stood before God and
He asked you, "Why should I let you into my Heaven..."
What would you say?
The answer that I hear the most is this,
"Well no, ~ can anyone know? ....but I hope so
~ I try to do good works so that
they will cancel out the bad things that I sometimes do."
God's Word [The Bible] positively has the answer...
1. "These things I have written unto you... that ye may
know that ye have eternal life ~ [Heaven] "
...I John 5:13
2. Jesus Christ said, "Not every one that saith unto me,
Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of
Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father
which is in Heaven.........."
~"…………Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name
cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works? “
"And then I (Jesus) will profess unto them,
I never knew you, depart from me, ye that
work iniquity (sin)." ~ Matthew 7:21-23
Two important key words in those scriptures are,
know and knew
1. The Bible declares that you can know right now for
certain that you are going to Heaven without a doubt
and…
2. This knowledge is based on knowing Jesus Christ,
because he said to all those who will not enter into Heaven ~
“depart from me ...I never knew you”.
Here is the key that opens the door to Heaven!
Do you know Jesus? Does Jesus know you?
This is how you can know him and know for certain
that you are going to be in Heaven with God some day.
Base your faith on the truth!
This is the most important knowledge that you can
have because this determines your final destination
and where you will be……… forever!
God Loves you so much!
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him,
should not perish,
but have everlasting life. John 3: 16
God has made a way for you to come
to Him in Heaven
~ but only through His SON - Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ said,
"I AM THE way, THE truth and THE life,
no man comes unto the Father but by me." ~
John 14: 6
God lives in Heaven and Jesus is seated
at His right hand
preparing a place for us!
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man,
the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
I Corinthians 2 : 9
God's WORD The Bible says;
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that
not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works,
lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8, 9
For ALL have SINNED and come short of the Glory of God
Romans 3: 23
Sin blinds us from the knowledge of God and keeps us
from finding the true riches that God has for us.
What IS SIN?
Sin defined is: ~ Lying, stealing, adultery, unbelief,
un-forgiveness towards another,
and NOT obeying God's WORD the Bible,
etc!
God gave 10 commandments, [in Exodus 20]
so that we could realize that we cannot
be perfect no matter how hard we try.
The first commandment is,
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
Jesus said;
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind."
Matthew 22:37
This is why we all need the Savior Jesus Christ.
None of us has kept His Law!!!
If we have broken even one commandment,
we are guilty of breaking them all.
"For whosoever shall keep the whole law,
and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of ALL."
James 2:10
For the wages of sin is death;
[hell, punishment, everlasting separation from GOD]
but the gift of God
..........is eternal life [Heaven, Forgiveness, Everlasting Life]
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
God's Word says that Heaven / Eternal Life is a Gift
that we cannot earn by our own Good Works …..
Because the only payment accepted by God to enter
His Kingdom is the shed blood of Jesus Christ,
the only begotten Son of God.
Jesus IS ~ GOD, the Son!
He shed his blood and died on the cross to pay the
penalty for our sins!!
His Death paid for your “Wages of Sin.”
“Who his own self bare [carried] our sins in his own
body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live
unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
I Peter 2: 24
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,
the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God,
being put to death in the flesh, but quickened
[made ALIVE AGAIN] by the Spirit."
I Peter 3:18
Jesus Christ died sacrificially on a cross and rose again,
~ (came back to life) ~ and was seen alive again by
over 512 witnesses after he died)
This punishment process of suffering; ...........
1. The Innocent Jesus, for the guilty ~ you and I,
2. Being beaten with 39 stripes, having his beard
plucked out, ~ spat upon, ~ mocked,
a crown of thorns pressed into His scalp,
3. His hands and His feet pounded, with huge
spikes, nailing them to the cross of our punishment,
4. A spear pierced his side and blood and water came out.
5. Jesus hanging on a cross in open shame,
as he died a very painful death,
6. He was so brutalized that
He was no longer recognizable as a man.
~ THIS ~
purchased your forgiveness, your eternal life,
and your place in Heaven for you.
There is NOT anything that we can do
to add to that to earn it!
God poured out our punishment upon Him!
If we could make ourselves worthy by our own good works,
then God would have spared His Son
a horrible death on the cross.
Without the shedding of BLOOD there is no remission.
[no forgiveness of sin] Hebrews 9:22
~
Just before Jesus Died on the Cross
he said these words
" It is finished" [John 19:30]
These words mean It is ACCOMPLISHED!!!!!!!
It is DONE!
Your SIN DEBT IS PAID in FULL!!!
After He died,
three days later he rose from the dead!
" ...How that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again
the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
After that, he was seen [ALIVE] of above
five hundred brethren at once; I Corinthians 15: 3
JESUS IS ALIVE!
Placing your faith and Belief ON JESUS CHRIST
and these facts will Save & Change your life!
After Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead
he went up into Heaven and sat down
at the right hand of God the Father
to wait for you to call upon Him
and ask to be saved.
“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them,
he was received up into heaven,
and sat on the right hand of God.”
Mark 16: 19
Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God."
John 3: 3
Jesus declared;
"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent
[turn from sinning ~ to Him],
ye shall all likewise perish."
Luke 13:3
"And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life."
[Heaven, forgiveness, ETERNAL LIFE]
John 5:40
Will you turn to the LIVING Jesus
and Ask Him to come into your Heart and Life
and FORGIVE you for being a sinner?
Will you Repent,
~ turn from sin and trusting in your
own efforts ~ good works
to be made acceptable to God?
Will you place your total trust
in His Blood that Paid your wages of sin?
Will you call upon the
name of Jesus Christ to be saved?
If you do ~ you can stand on these promises
from The Word of God…..
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
(that Jesus IS LORD!)
and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For whosoever shall call upon
the name of the Lord (JESUS)....... shall be saved."
Romans 10: 9, 10, 13
I trusted Jesus Christ over 29 years ago
as my eyes were opened to the TRUTH.
Now I am saved, totally forgiven,
and on my way to Heaven.
I am walking with Jesus and enjoying
his PRESENCE, ~
~ His Strength, ~ His Help, ~ His Direction, ~
His Protection as all of my needs are met, ~
His Peace in my everyday life, ~
His Spiritual Prosperity, ~
His Assurance that Heaven is MINE,
His Holy Spirit has filled me with JOY!!!
What could be better than
Knowing for certain
that HEAVEN IS your HOME?
All fear of death is gone!!!
I found out that he has a perfect plan for my life.
I found out that until I totally submitted
to HIS LORDSHIP of my life,
I would not find out about All that HE has for me!
He has a plan for your life too!
When I trusted in Jesus Christ and his shed blood for me
personally ~ THAT's when I began to fully live
and BE BORN AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
Please pray this prayer from your heart out loud and
Jesus Christ will do the same for you!
Dear Lord Jesus;
I know I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life.......
But I believe you died and gave your life for me and
purchased forgiveness and a place in heaven for me.
Lord Jesus, please come into my heart & life
and take control.
Please forgive ALL my sins and save me
from sins punishment.
~ I repent, and turn from my sins to you.
I turn from trust in my own good works.
I now place my faith and trust
in your finished work on the cross
that purchased my salvation and forgiveness.
I accept the free gift of eternal life...
[Heaven]
.....that was purchased by your shed Blood!
Thank you LORD Jesus for saving me
and for all you have done." ~
If you have genuinely received Jesus by praying this
Prayer from your heart,
I would like to welcome you to the FAMILY of God!
Congratulations!
"But as many as received HIM [Jesus]
to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name:"
John 1:12
NOW ~ every good thing that we do from now on
is because we ARE SAVED
and full of gratitude for ALL that Christ has done for us!!!

Please begin daily reading the Book of John
in the New Testament of The Bible.
Begin to Let God teach you his word.
Your eyes will be opened continuously to find
all that God has for you!!
Begin to pray to God in Jesus name every day.
Just talk to Him like a Child to his Father.
Ask Him to lead you to a BIBLE Believing Church
....and begin faithful attendance.
Tell somebody today,
that you have asked Jesus Christ
to come into your Heart.
Be a witness of the truth everywhere you go!
